Terrible Hurricane In The Philippines


December 16th tropical storm “Washi” struck the Philippine island of Mindanao, with a population of 500 thousand inhabitants. 10-hour rainfall caused some flooding and landslides. Over the banks of the river swept on its way cars and homes.
Already confirmed the death of more than 1000 people of the Philippines, 50 000 are still in evacuation centers. This makes it a tropical storm the deadliest storm Washi 2011.
The consequences of Tropical Storm Washi Philippine Islands are comparable, at least, a powerful earthquake.
